Each year, the Tennessee Association of Housing & Redevelopment Authorities-better known as TAHRA-partners with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) to host a statewide poster contest centered around the theme "What Home Means to Me."

This year's winners were announced at the TAHRA Spring Workshop held in Murfreesboro on April 22nd. We are proud to share that Martin Housing Authority submitted 12 posters from our young residents from Park Place, Martin Heights and Weakley Heights-competing against entries from across the entire state.

Please join me in congratulating our talented winners:

🎉 Jordyn Stephens, who earned 2nd place in the Elementary School category!
🎉 Brandi Burilson, who brought home 1st place in the Elementary School category!

Their outstanding artwork will now advance to the regional level at the Southeastern Regional Council Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this June.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the parents for bringing your children here to be celebrated-and to our dedicated MHA staff for showing their support and encouragement!
